Armed Forces Retirement Home Washington, DC June 19, 2010 CONGRATULATIONS 2009-2010 Scholarship Recipients!! The Buffalo Soldiers Greater Washington, D.C. Chapter 9th and 10th (Horse) Cavalry Association is proud to announce the 2009-2010 Scholarship Awards to the following students: Jarrett T. Bell, son of Richard Bell, graduate from Central High School, Seat Pleasant, MD, with a GPA of 3.00. Mr. Bell will be attending Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD. Jonne V. Winfree, daughter of Telores Hill, graduate from Oxon Hill High School, Oxon Hill, MD with a GPA of 3.400 and will major in Civil Engineering. Each winner will be awarded a $500.00 check.
